I'd like to discuss the benefits of doing business with our company.
I'd like to start with a brief slide show to introduce you to our products.
I have also distributed books around the table that contain sample of products.
To illustrate just one of our advantages, you can see that our customer-satisfaction rating is nearly 100%.
Research has shown that the average maximum attention span of most adult is about 45 minutes, and even in this limited time they usually absorb only about one third of the information that is presented to them.
In summary, I have explained our company's present financial situation and how we can improve it in the future.
To wrap up, I'd just like to recap the three key points I've discussed.
Don't be long-winded when you are concluding a presentation. Instead, it is best to conclude with a few sentences that are direct and powerful.
The points that you reemphasize at the end of your presentation are the ones that will resonate with your audience, so choose them carefully and make sure to pause slightly before you deliver them.
In order to conclude effectively, you need to explain to your audience what they can do with the information that you have just provided for them in the presentation.
You're talking really quickly and you're not enunciating very clearly. You need to pause after punctuation and after words you want to emphasize.
Pausing during the presentation will help you sound more natural; it is appropriate to pause slightly after sentences between paragraphs in your prepared speech.
You should paginate the script by putting each number at the top of the page, not at the bottom.
Do not be reluctant to write in cue words such as "pause" and "distribute handouts" so that you are reminded to do so at appropriate intervals in the presentation.
It is important for you to understand that the audience will usually be on your side; they want you to succeed as much as you do. They are also interested in what you have to say; otherwise, they would not be there.
Proper breathing is the key to controlling the quality of your voice. Remember to take several deep breath from your diaphragm (not from your chest) through-out your presentation.
Even if you are using visual aids during a biz presentation, your voice is your primary means of expression.
The extra oxygen you take in can stimulate your vocal cords and make your voice sound more resonant.
If you look at the screen, you can see the rise and decline in our sales profits over the past ten years. The y-axis shows our profits in thousands of dollars, and the x-axis show the years. As you can see from the graph, profits showed a steady increase between 1995 and 1999.
The primary purpose of using visual aids is to help your audience better understand your presentation, not to impress them with technological wizardry.
A visual aid can often inspire additional questions from the audience. You should try to anticipate these questions and prepare your answers in advance.

Nonetheless, there are four types of questions that are commonly asked by an audience at a business presentation: detail questions, confirmation questions, logic questions, and prior-experience questions.

Hostile questions from the audience aimed at your presentation itself, not at you personally. Thus, when you respond to a hostile question you should deal with question directly without attacking the motives of the questioner.
You are under no obligation to reveal confidential or sensitive information to your audience, so do not allow an audience member to badger you into doing so.
Do not provide a detailed response to a question of relatively minor importance, especially when there are other audience members waiting to ask questions.
When you respond to the hostile question, you need to provide solid, convincing evidence in support of your argument. If you do this, the majority of the audience will take your side, your antagonist will be disarmed, and an awkward situation will have been averted.
