For this phase of my presentation, I'd like to go over the sales performance by region for 2008…

   

To wrap up my presentation, current sales are only part of what we should focus on. We need to consider the future of each market.

… I hope this presentation has been clear and informative. I'd like to invite you to tell me about the concerns that you have.

   

There are several reasons for organizing this meeting.

   

Our goal in this conference is to address our new marketing strategies.

   

Our objective is to encourage mergers between larger high-tech companies and small traditional manufacturers.

   

It is hoped that by the end of the meeting you will have a better idea of how to access the needs of your existing customers and hot to attract new ones.

   

What I'd like to do is talk about our new products launching event.

   

This morning, I would like to provide a brief overview of the major findings of the recent survey.

   

With that instruction, let me briefly review the sales of the new products.

   

I'll be speaking mostly about the reasons that this meeting is important, and then make some recommendations on how to save labor-costs.

   

I'd like to add a couple of points to what the managing director said on the customs duty.

   

I want to say something in support of the argument Manager John about the sales of the new products.

   

I'd like to pick up on a comment that the previous presenter made about mergers between M bank and K bank.

   

I take exception to your point.

   

I'm afraid I can't agree with you there.

   

I tend to disagree.

   

I'm sure someone will raise an objection.

   

I have strong reservation about the effectiveness of that aid program.

Japan expressed extremely strong reservations about the proposal.

That might be the case, but I doubt it.

Well, at this stage I feel I should summarize the matter as it stands.

Sales moved up steadily in August.

Sale reached a peak in October.

Sales hit a record high in December.

   

Let me close my presentation with a quote from the book "Career Planning & Management"

   

The challenge is complex, and we don't have all the answers right now. But we are confident that we are on the right course.

We must not forget that if the small enterprises dies we dies.

   

I've talked about our current position in Mexico and pointed out some of the problems we are facing. Well, what options are open to us now? Where do we go from here?

   

As I have already indicated, I think our first priority must be to build on the excellent results we have achieved in certain South American markets. Let me quickly expand on those successes before we move on.

   

Admittedly our results here have been poor so far, but there are signs the market is changing and we can learn a lot from our mistakes. On balance, though, I think we stand to gain most from concentrating on South America and I strongly recommend we put all our efforts into further expansion in Brazil and possibly Chile.

   

That covers all I wanted to say today. In conclusion, may I thank you all for being such an attentive and responsive audience. That you also for your pertinent questions.

   

This is the problem I'm presenting to all of you today: we need to stimulate sales throughout the year. To do this, I've come up with a two part solution. First of all, we need more promotion campaigns to boost sales. I think our advertising budget has been much too small in recent years. Secondly, we need an exciting hot new product to promote that will solve the problem of lagging sales in the winter months. A solution I would like to suggest is the creations of hot drink, which could compete directly with health drinks. We will introduce this version, already bottled, in supermarkets and convenience stores across the country. I think this will offset any loss of sales we have during the winter months and boost sales overall.

   

Please interrupt me if there's something which needs clarifying. Otherwise, there will be time for discussion at the end.
